White House Task Force on Sexual Assault

The Evergreen Project wants everyone to be educated about the prevention efforts that are going on nationally to help lower rates of sexual violence. Below, you can find a link to the newly established White House Memorandum that establishes a Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault. You can also find the report "Rape and Sexual Assault: A Renewed Call to Action", published by the White House Council on Women and Girls, to read more specifically about the issues we are dealing with. Lastly, you can access the federal database on "sexual assault" to get some good data on how prevalent the issue has become. Hopefully, these resources will allow you to become more informed and more aware of the current issue that is facing our society. Considering that The Evergreen Project was started by University of Washington students, it is important that we do what we can as an organization to support the mission of this task force as well.
